We provide prior right and availability search services in Italy, Europe and the rest of the world.

Depending on the context and market of each individual country, we indicate whether or not it is advisable to proceed in using and registering a trademark.

We verify whether a trademark can be registered, evaluating any potential risks of conflict with third party rights.

We assess which form of registration (traditional trademark, certification, collective, DOP, IGP,…) would be most appropriate for the type of business activity to be protected

We directly manage the entire administrative process, with the Italian Office, EU Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, Madrid Agreement). In all other countries, we act through a selected network of reliable associates.

We defend registrations from third party claims (in the context of opposition or invalidity proceedings and in the appeal proceedings lodged with the special Appeals Board). Vice versa, we handle proceedings geared to oppose or nullify cancel conflictual third party registrations.

We provide assistance related to the negotiation of out-of-court settlements, transfers to third parties and the definition of licences.

We offer support in case of legal disputes (trademark counterfeiting, unfair competition, undue advantage of reputed marks ,…) if necessary, in collaboration with a legal team specialised in industrial property, both in Italy and in the rest of the world.
