We establish whether a particular form needs to be protected, choosing between single or multiple registration and whether instead it might be sufficient to rely on the protection envisaged for non-registered models (if this exists) or the laws against unfair competition, from the perspective of optimising the cost/benefit ratio.
We research any previous third party registrations, to establish whether proceeding with a registration is feasible, or whether instead it would be wiser to identify other forms of protection in order to avoid disputes.
We offer support for optimising the model (photographs, 2D renderings, 3D images,…)
We draft the application and directly manage all the examination and granting processes before the Italian Office, EUuropean Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, Hague Convention). In the rest of the world we act through a selected network of reliable associates.
